Sintering
Rogers provided this very unique design of high temperature Sintering Furnace. Rogers was selected to build this very specialized furnace, because of their experience in the design and manufacture of high temperature muffle furnaces. This furnace presented a unique set of requirements, because of a high operating temperature of 2200ºF and muffle width of 34”. The furnace has been a great success and has excellent muffle and element life.
Also available are the traditional style of sintering furnaces in mesh belt or roller hearth configuration. Mesh belts can be with or without muffle and both styles can be heated by silicon carbide bar or sinuous formed alloy elements.
Shown above is a typical kiln furnace designed for the purpose of curing paint pigment. Rogers was chosen to provide this kiln because of their ability to provide kilns that operate at very high temperature (2500ºF) with exceptional temperature uniformity.
